North Island Survivor's Healing Society has been in operation in Campbell River since 1993. The Centre offers individual counselling and facilitated group support for adults affected by abuse.
Abuse can alter your emotional, physical and spiritual well-being for months, even years after it occurs. Counselling may help you to understand the impact of the trauma and offer support to move forward with your life.

- A series of facilitated support groups for individuals with various levels of experience with group work.
- Individual counselling for adults who have experienced abuse recently or in childhood.
- An addictions integrated counselling program for women who were sexually abused as children.
- Consultation and resources to establish peer support groups.
- A resource library for clients that includes current publications on healing from violence.
- A list of counselling and other related services locally and provincially.
- Presentations to raise awareness on the issues of abuse, stalking, harassment and prevention.
- Intervention training for volunteers and allied professionals.
